Rules:

The person, couple, organization, or business may be nominated by another person or by themselves.

 

This form must be completed and returned to the Castroville Area Chamber of Commerce office via email or hand-delivered by 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2026. Nominations will be reviewed and narrowed to the top 3 nominees for ballot purposes.

 

The person, couple, organization, or business must reside in the Castroville area to be eligible.

 

Educator of the Year must be a professional educator within MVISD or St. Louis Catholic School.

 

The businesses nominated for Business of the Year and New Business of the Year must be Chamber members.

 

The nominee or a representative of the nominee must attend the Chamber Banquet. Tickets will be available at the Chamber Office.

 

The selected winner will be presented at the Chamber Banquet on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 7:00 pm at The Braden Keller Center.

EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR 
OUTSTANDING JUNIOR CITIZEN BOY & GIRL

Eligible students must be high school seniors who reside in the Medina Valley School District but can attend a school outside of the district. The Outstanding Senior Boy and Girl will receive a plaque at the banquet and a $500 Junior Citizen of the Year scholarship from the Castroville Area Chamber of Commerce in May at MV Senior Awards night or at their respective school award ceremony.
